Suggested remediation steps:

Confirm that GFI LANguard 11 Attendant Service is automatically starting by:

services.msc > GFI LANguard 11 Attendant Services > Properties > Startup type: Disabled -> Automatic

-(May require elevated privileges) Log On tab > Enter desired credentials

Confirm the following are accessible from and able to be downloaded on the local machine (or site concentrator):

http://software.gfi.com/lnsupdate/lanss_11_patchmngmt.7z

Additionally suggested whitelist:

Confirm the following files exist uncorrupted on the local system:

C:\ProgramData\GFI\LanGuard 11\Update\lanss_11_patchmngmt.7z

C:\ProgramData\GFI\LanGuard 11\PatchManagement\lanss_11_patchmngmnt.mdb

C:\ProgramData\GFI\LanGuard 11\PatchManagement\wsusscn2.cab

update.exe can be run manually from:

...\Advanced Monitoring Agent\patchman\update.exe
